Ciao Arca,
la novità del momento è che mi sono comprato l’ipod taroccato cinese a 10 euri. Così posso sfruttare la bellissima Wellington City Library dove per 1 dollaro (50 cents di euro) ti prendi un cd per una settimana; c’è una scelta di qualche migliaio di Cd dal pop, al blues ed a scaffale aperto così nei giorni di pioggia mi fiondo li dentro a sbirciare, per vedere che cosa posso prendere. (mi dicono che anche a Sala Borsa è così…tu lo sai?)
In tutto questo la mia maggiore abitudine ad ascoltare la lingua inglese da tutto un nuovo sapore alle canzoni: mentre prima, diciamolo, ascoltavo, come dire, il “suono” e poi leggevo il testo, ora riesco a capire quasi tutto mentre sento le canzoni.
Tornando all’affitto dei CD ecco la mia hit parade quando “walk to work”:

Fuori concorso: in America sta spopolando una serie televisiva con due Neozelandesi come protagonisti. Sono di wellington e sono un po’ gli “Elio” (solo per darti un idea) in versione inglese. Non penso che uscirà mai in Italia perchè se puoi tradurre i dialoghi della sitcom non puoi farlo con le canzoni. Comunque loro sono i Flight of the Conchords con “You are into it”:

Grandissimi Cohen e Chapman. Il video degli Stones invece è bello perchè si può credere che un tempo Keith Richard avesse sembianze umane.
Ho bisogno di aiuto invece per i Flight of the Conchords, naturalmente non riesco a decifrare.
